DeZURIK model BAW Valves now available in Steel. (1/29/2009)

The DeZURIK BAW butterfly valve line has been expanded to include additional materials of construction to meet the changing needs of the municipal market.  In response to a need for materials more suited to seismically sensitive areas, DeZURIK is providing carbon steel butterfly valves manufactured to the AWWA C504 standard on a San Francisco Bay area project in sizes from 48” to 96”. 

As a continuation of that project flanged valves in sizes from 24” through 96” will be available with carbon steel or stainless steel bodies and discs.  The valves are an extension of the DeZURIK Model BAW butterfly valve line that has experienced so much success in the water market over the past years. 

DeZURIK continues to utilize their many years of manufacturing and application experience to join the proven designs of their valves with the extensive list of materials used in other markets to engineer valves that best meet the needs of the municipal marketplace.
